LHAL Graduates its FIRST Class Ever!

Pittsburgh, PA - On January 12, 2006, the Latino Health Advocacy & Leadership program held its commencement ceremony for its first-ever graduating class in Pittsburgh, with a dinner and presentation of certificates at MAYA Restaurant in Beechview. Also recognized for their participation were: Peggy Urzua, Rosa Thomson, and Renata Taveira. The event was attended by members from several pro-Latino Health organizations in the area, such as The American Heart Association, Magee Womens Hospital and the Latin American Cultural Union (LACU).
